Over 22 years of experience in the energy sector with more than 15 years in solar industry.
With an engineering background, Massimiliano Pili has been working in the energy sector since 2000 with more than 15 years of experience in renewable energy leading the construction and operation of solar projects in Italy, Spain, Chile, Japan, Netherlands and Denmark.
Since 2018 he was Head of Engineering and Construction at Encavis AG, leading the EPC contract negotiation and the construction of more than 600MWp of solar plants in the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Denmark and managing several pipelines of projects under development in Germany, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Ireland and UK.
In the previous 5 years he was Operations Director in Etrion where he implemented a range of operational improvements and cost reductions, led the negotiation of O&M and of PPAs.

From September 2022 he joined the Horus Team as Head of Operations
