Friday, May 28 at Palazzo Chigi the Council of Ministers approved the draft of the Recovery Decree, which contains simplifications to facilitate and accelerate the implementation of all the interventions provided by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP).
The decree also contains important innovations in the field of renewable sources, with important measures to simplify the procedures for the awarding of works, services and supplies and halves the time for the release of the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment).
The timescale for the release of the EIA is halved: from the current 360 days of the ordinary procedure to 175 days of the fast procedure.
Finally, a special superintendence has been set up at the Ministry of Culture for the protection of cultural and landscape assets affected by the interventions provided for in the NRP.
